How are athletes entered into competitions? A Google Form will be sent to athletes one week before entry deadlines. The email used is provided by each athlete to the Head Coach. Athletes must submit the Google Form by the provided deadline date.
Eligibility for Dual Meets 1. Athlete must be academically eligible 2. Athlete must have attended practice regularly >At least 2 days before dual meets and the dual meet itself (3 days minimum/week) >At least 4 days before invitationals and must have competed in the dual meet that week >All relay members must have practiced with teammates at least one time before dual meets and two times before invitationals 3. Athletes must be healthy to compete 4. Athlete must submit Google Form on time 5. Athlete must have qualify mark for all invitationals
Dual Meet Travel The team will travel to the competitions by bus. Buses will depart 1 1/2 to 2 hours before the start of competitions depending on location. Athletes may go home with parents, but must inform head coach by email before departure.
Eligibility for Invitational Meets 1. Must be academically eligible 2. Must have attended practice regularly 3. Must have competed in the dual meet the same week 4. Must be healthy to compete 5. Must submit Google Form on time 6. Must have met invitational standards Invitational Meet Travel The team will travel in van(s) or with parents to invitationals. Van(s) will depart from the Los Gatos High School Track. Departure times will vary depending on competition schedule. Dual Meet Scoring: 5-0 for relays 5-3-1 for 1st-2nd-3rd place in all individual events.
